Stock Exchange of Thailand Resumes Trading of BCP
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) had ordered
the trading suspension of the securities of Bangchak
Petroleum Public Company Limited (BCP) because the
company had requested that the SET temporarily
suspend trading on 19 January, 2004. This is due to
investors who purchase BCP's share in the SET after
16 January 2004 for the securities swap purpose may
not be able to deliver such shares within the Swap period.
(Swap ordinary shares to Depository Receipts of benefits
of BCP's ordinary shares.)
Now, the term is completed as the company had
requested. Thus, the SET has resumed trading of BCP
from 20 January 2004 onwards.
