1600 /011/ 2004 January 22, 2004 Subject : Details of Subscription process of BCP's Depository Receipts Attention : President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand and The Stock Exchange of Thailand As BCP is on the process of increasing paid-up capital by issuing 3,000 Million Baht ordinary shares, such shares will be offered to investors in form of depository receipt ("DR"), issued by Siam DR Company Limited ("Siam DR"). Besides DR's normal features of providing benefits to DR holders similar to ordinary shares, this DR has a special "Capital Protection" feature provided by the Ministry of Finance ("MOF") by guaranteeing DR selling price at its 10th anniversary at Baht 13.- per DR, which is equal to DR's initial public offering price (the information of DR is provided in the Prospectus of BCP and Siam DR for Public Offering of Capital Increase Ordinary Shares in form of DR of BCP's Ordinary Shares (the "Prospectus"), posted in the website of the Office of Securities and Exchange Commission (www.sec.or.th)) The Company would like to inform that the subscription period will be during 26th - 28th January 2004 and the details of subscription are as follows: 1. General investors (59.85 million shares) will be able to subscribe at the lead underwriters or other underwriters during 26th - 28th January 2004 at the hours of 9.30 a.m.- 4.30 p.m. The minimum share offering are 500 shares and multiplier every 500 shares. The subscribers have to pay for the allotted securities at once on the subscription date. Public Investors (34.65 Million Shares) will be able to subscribe at Head Quarter and every branches of Siam City Bank during 26th - 27th January 2004 at the hours of 8.30 a.m. - 9.30 p.m. The minimum share offering are 10,000 shares and multiplier every 10,000 shares. The Maximum share offering are 100,000 shares per subscriber. Each subscriber can submit subscription form only 1 form. In addition, subscriber must have cash in the saving account of Siam City Bank equal to the amount that subscribers intend to subscribe before the random process begins. In addition, the process of subscription will be closed, if the volumes of subscription on 26th January 2004 after 10.30 a.m. exceed 2 times of the allotted shares 3.
