SP SIGN POSTED AGAINST BCP The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has ordered the trading suspension of Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited (BCP) because the company requested the SET temporarily suspend trading of its securities effective on 19 January 2004. This is because investors who purchase BCP's share in the SET after 16 January 2004 for the securities swap purpose may not be able to to deliver such shares within the Swap period. (Swap ordinary shares to Depository Receipts of benefits of BCP's ordinary shares.) Therefore, the SET posts the SP sign on BCP's securities effective on 19 January, 2004.
