1600 / 199 / 2003 November 18, 2003 The Stock Exchange of Thailand 62, Ratchadapisek Road, Klongtoey Bangkok 10110 Attention : President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject : The decrease of registered capital and par value As The Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited held its Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting on 29th August, 2003, the resolution of such meeting is to approve the decrease of the registered capital from 5,220,409,400 Baht to 522,040,940 Baht, by reducing the par value of the shares from 10 Baht per share to 1 Baht per share, in order to compensate the accumulated loss of the Company amounting to 4,698,368,460 Baht. The Company would like to inform that the Company already registered the reduction of registered capital to 522,040,940 Baht at 1 Baht per share at the Ministry of Commerce since November 17, 2003.
