Subject : Clarify News Re: the Company's Promissory Notes
(P/N) Issuance
Dear sir ,
As the news concerning The Bangchak Petroleum Public Company
Limited (BCP) would issue promissory notes (P/N) in September
and November, 2002;
The Company would like to clarify that the Company has made
an inquiry towards saving cooperatives and other investors regarding
the interest in the Company's promissory notes issuance plan.
These promissory notes approximately total BHT. 3,000 million,
aging 1 - 5 years with an interest rate around 4.75 - 6.25%,
and would be offered as private placement. Besides, the Company
has neither made a prospectus nor a road show as according to
the rules and regulations of the Securities Exchange Commission
(SEC), the said promissory notes issuance does not require any
prospectus as other securities offering.
