Subject : Clarify the Company's Chairman of the Board
of Directors.
Dear sir ,
As the news concerning the Company's Chairman of the Board
of Directors appeared to be Mr. Somchainuk Engtrakul, who was appointed
to be the Company's Director in the 2002 Annual General Shareholders
Meeting on Thursday, April 25, 2002, to replace Mr. Sommai Phasee.
The Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited (BCP) would like
to clarify that the Company did not inform such information and such
information did not in accordance with the fact. The appointment of
the Company's Chairman of the Board of Directors shall be considered by
the Board of Directors in the Meeting, which shall be held in the near
future based on the Company's Articles of Association.
