The resignation follows his appointment as a director of Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited and as chairman of the Audit Committee of the Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited by the Ministry of Finance. These assignments have created more business activities for him. Consequently, the Ministry of Finance has proposed the appointment of Dr. Somchai Richupan, the Director General of the Excise Department, and a director of the company, as the new chairman of BCP. Furthermore, it has appointed Mrs. Puntip Surathin, the Deputy Comptrollers General, as a director of the company to fill the vacant position. Please be informed accordingly.
