Declaration of the ignited equipment at Hydrocracking Unit
Clarification of News or Information
The Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited ("the Company") would like to
inform the incident occurred at 7.00 AM on January 14, 2011, the equipment in
Hydrocracking Unit, capacity 25,000 barrel per day, was ignited. From
preliminary investigation, the Company found a leakage in control system
pipeline. The situation was under controlled in 30 minutes with no injury. Other
facilities have not been damaged. Currently, the investigation is being carried
out. Moreover, the Company has the insurance coverage for property damages and
business interruption.
However, the Company expects no significant impacts on its product sales to
customers and annual performance.
